Doug Newcomb is a respected thought leader, consultant and writer in the mobility and transportation spaces. Doug co-founded the C3 Group in 2013, which produced mobility technology events in New York, Washington, D.C., San Francisco and at SXSW in Austin. High-level elected officials involved in C3 events included U.S. Transportation Secretary Anthony Foxx, U.S. Senators Gary Peters and Ed Markey, former U.S. Senator Cory Gardner, U.S. Congresswoman Debbie Dingell, former U.S. Congressman Dan Lipinski, former NHTSA Administrator Mark Rosekind, and numerous large-city mayors. C3 Group was acquired by Wards/Informa in 2018. Doug has also consulted with companies such as General Motors, Hyundai, AT&T, Bosch, Deutsch Bank, NXP, HERE Technologies and others and he is a recognized expert on automotive technology and a frequent speaker at automotive and consumer electronics industry events.
